Christina Lee brings us a tender yet fiery romance in this May/Dec novella. As a fan of this queer romance series, I cannot recommend The Faintest Spark enough. I think what I love most about this novella, as well as the additional books of the series, is the consistent theme of self –acceptance. It was wonderful to witness Mal struggle with his attraction to Sawyer and the courage he found to act on it, both physically and emotionally. Review: The Hardest Fall by Christina Lee
One of the reasons I love reading romance is to watch two people fall in love. Not just any two people though. I have to like them and feel connected to them, and I thought Christina Lee did this really well in The Hardest Fall. As the story is flushed out in the first quarter or so, it was easy for me to get to know both Sebastian and Tate.
