Alice Clayton is one of my favorite authors. Her romantic comedies have great banter, are laugh-out-loud funny, and still bring the sweet and the heat. (Side note: The Sweet and The Heat sounds like a good band name.) Buns mostly fit that bill, but missed the mark in the second half. Review: Roman Crazy by Alice Clayton and Nina Bocci
Oh, Marcello! Dreamy sigh… Marcello made this book for me. His character is the ultimate dream man and he really carried Roman Crazy for me. Review: Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton
You always know what you’re going to get with Alice Clayton. You know it’ll be funny, it’ll be sexy, and it’ll be sweet. Cream of the Crop is no different. I think I’m in the minority in the fact that Alice’s Redhead series is my favorite, but I think this is one of my favorites since that series and Wallbanger. I loved every moment of the book that they were together. I did find myself … [Read more...]
Wallbanger
❀Mini Review❀ This book in one word: Entertaining After I finished reading this book, I had a huge grin on my face! Wallbanger was a quick, quippy, quality romcom; a delightful read. I loved Simon and Caroline. Their banter was off-the-charts, hilarious, and the chemistry between these two was electric. The characters in this book were sexy and fun, and the pace was quick, the tone light. This is exactly the kind of book to read if you want a joyful escape. The levity of the plot shouldn't take away the from the fact that Alice Clayton … [Read more...]
